A large tree reaching up to 20 metres in height. The fruits are pear or barrel shaped arising directly from the trunk or branches. The fruit may attain a weight of up to 20kg.
Silver-Back Artocarpus 白桂木 Artocarpus hypargyreus
A relative of the breadfruit tree, this species' smaller fruits are eaten by macaques. If the fruits ripen, such as on Hong Kong Island where there are no macaques, they turn yellow.

Henry's Rose 軟條七薔薇 Rosa henryi
Henry's Rose looks like the Memorial Rose, both wild Hong Kong rose species with multi-headed blooms. The difference is that R. henryi has 5-7 leaflets whereas R. luciae (Memorial Rose) has 7-9 leaflets. In addition, according to the Hong Kong herbarium R. henryi flowers all year round whereas R. luciae flowers from March to July.

Rosa laevigata has: distal branches that are dark brown to purplish red; reddish-brown prickles with broad, flattened bases; large, single blooms with five white petals each; glossy, bright green leaves with three (sometimes five) leaflets, with the terminal leaflet larger than the laterals; a densely setose hypanthium (floral cup), setae about 2–3 mm; and lanceolate stipules with glandular-serrate margins.

A climbing shrub that creeps along the ground, it is also known as 'snake vine' due to its habit of crossing your path when you would prefer it not to. This plant is covered with rust-coloured floss on the branches and leaf undersides. In late spring and early summer it has small white flowers. The fruits are like small raspberries.
